A two
million-gallon, spring-fed reservoir ensures snow on the 10 offical runs and two terrain parks everyday of ski season. Based at an 8,500-ft. elevation (the highest in Nevada), LVSSR offers vertical feet and 40 acres of skiable terrain. Twenty percent of the runs are beginner (green), 60 percent intermediate (blue) and 20 percent advanced (black). If you are advanced, try the tree skiing. If you have absolutely no clue how to ski, you`re in luck. Marcel Barel, the internationalley acclaimed and certified ski school director and his staff, will show you how to get yourself down the mountain in one piece.
If you left your ski at home, you can rent them on the mountain - along with any other ski paraphernalia you need.
The resort
is also equipped with a ski shop, The Big Horn Cafe and located directly of the spacious sun deck is The Bristlecone Bar, a place to rest your muscles and enjoy a refreshing drink.
